Step 1

Photo above shows that when cleaning for the fist time or a blockage is detected. Start by removing the grating by twisting anti-clockwise to unlock and lifting it up.

Step 2

Next step is to remove the container & bell cap from the trap. Twist the container from left to right to free any debris that might prevent this procedure.

Step 3

You might notice that in some cases that the debris is trapped at the base of trap after container is removed. This has to be properly cleaned.

Step 4

Clean the container by using a hose to flush and clean the internal and external surface.

STEP 5

Remove access debris from internal of trap by means of removing by hand or using a spoon to scoop using a hose to flush away left over debris.

STEP 6

Once the floor trap is clean internally, you may replace back the internal container & bell cap and grating. Push container & bell cap into body of floor trap slowly until it sits at the bottom.

STEP 7

Drop in grating into floor trap and twist clockwise to lock it.

STEP 8

Once complete, please pour some water in bathroom to check for flow. All surface water should drain away quickly and should not stagnate.
